So Big

Hannah is at the age where if your doing it, she wants to do it too.

When I'm putting on my makeup or doing my hair, she also wants to have on makeup and have her hair sprayed too.

I guess she thought she would try her own makeup........Scary!!





If myself or the girls have our hair in a towel....Hannah needs to have her hair in a towel too.










Grandma Armour broke her arm and had a lot of arm strengthening exercises she had to do a couple times a day while she was out here, after Grandma would finish her exercises Hannah would say, "Grandma now I will do my exercises."

If I'm reading a book Hannah hurries and grabs a book and comes and sits by me to read her book too, she helps with the dusting, the laundry, and the weeding.

If only they didn't outgrow this stage, I love that she is my little shadow and looks up to me so much.

Cookie Dough Fun

Grandma Swenson got the girls a cookbook called " Cookie Dough Fun" it has a ton of recipes that use refrigerated cookie dough, and they've had a blast using it they've already made three different recipes and liked them all.











This recipe is called Marshmallow Ice Cream Cone Cakes.































They turned out just perfect!















They tasted good too!

Thanks Grandma Swenson for the fun cookbook it's keep the girls happily busy.

Good Day Sunshine

Sleeping isn't the most comfortable thing these days, with having to get up at least 3 times a night to use the bathroom, almost having to sleep on the air conditioning vent to stay cool, and switching position 10 to 15 times through out the night to find some comfort.......lets just say I wasn't a happy camper when I went to roll over to my other side at 5:00 in the morning and noticed I had a few extra bodies in my bed and there was no room to roll over!!

Summer Fun

We definitely have had a fun filled summer we were able to spend almost 3 weeks in Utah and Mike was able to be there the whole time! Then my mom came out for here annual summer visit which we are so thankful for, the 2 weeks she was here were awesome!





We have had many family BBQ's.










Lots of time to play dress up and put on plays.









Plenty of tea parties and picnic with their cousins.










A trip to the Hogle Zoo.


















A visit to an open house for a new Fire Fighter House.










Three family reunions while in Utah, one was my baby shower but I got to reunite with a lot of family and friends we hadn't seen for a while so that counts as a family reunion too.









Swimming and playing in the bouncy house.

Of course endless trips to Lake George for play dates, with friends, and while my mom and nieces and nephew were here.

The arcade.

And a trip to Still Water.

I cherish the summer months and all the fun and memories that they bring with it, I love our trips to Utah, my moms visits every summer and the time I get to spend with my girls.......if only they were as long as the winter months.

The Race

While spending the weekend in St. Cloud, Madisyn had the opportunity to run in a 1k race with her cousin Sydney.

The night before the race Madisyn and Sydney were preparing for it by running back and forth across the room with Ashtyn running the timer seeing who got the best time, after about 15 or 20 minutes of this Madisyn wondered if that was such a good idea and worried that their legs might be too sore to run the race in the morning......so they decided to stop and watch a movie.

Madisyn suggested to Sydney that they should finish the race holding hands through the finish line, but Sydney said, "Maddy it is a race!"

Sydney is in the blue shorts and Maddy is behind her in the black shorts.......I guess Sydney didn't go with Maddy's suggestion.

I think Maddy might have inspired me to start running....... I had a dream shortly after the race that my friend Kristen and I signed up to do 1/2 marathon, but when it was time to run I started to back out because I didn't think it was safe to be running while we were both pregnant......so I think I'll hold off until after I have the baby.

Maddy enjoyed the race so much that for the next week her and Sydney got up every morning put on their running gear and went for a short run.

Happy Birthday Emily

Happy Birthday Emily! Emily usually lucks out with her birthday being in the summer months and has her Grandma Armour here on her birthday.

A couple of days before Emily's birthday Grandma Armour got on the computer and showed Emily a bunch of different cakes and let her pick out one and told her she would make it for her.

Emily loves Panda Bears so she went with this one.

Emily decided to go to Chuck E. Cheese's for her birthday and then came home and had pizza and watched Nim's Island on the projector.
