Sledding

We've had two snow days this week, we've had some crazy snow!
We are lucky to have some great sledding hills at our neighborhood park to spend those snow days at. Mason and Hannah had a blast!

Sweet 16

Madisyn turned 16! On the same day it was also her winter formal dance. Her date was sweet and got her a bouquet of flowers and a cupcake from "Gigi's cupcakes." After the dance we had an after party for her at our house.
I can't believe this sweet girl is 16, before I know it she'll be on her way to college.. Wishing life would slow down for a little while!

My obsession

So I haven't blogged in forever!! I finally decided tonights the night to blog pictures that have been on my phone since November! As I was looking through my camera roll I figured out why I haven't been doing much blogging!
I am obsessed with all of the interior design blogs and Instgram feeds! Instead of cute pictures of my kids, the photos below are what are taking over my photos on my phone!
I have loved getting ideas of how I wanted to transform our home. Slowly but surely I have been redoing our main floor with new paint, painting old furniture, and new decor. Still on the list, painting our kitchen cabinets white and putting in wood floors... A girl can dream.. right?

Saying goodbye

Ashley had to fly out at 6:00 a.m. the day after Christmas. It is always so hard to say goodbye, these are the times I wish my kids could live at home forever!
Love this girl so much!

Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas! The older girls got a lot of clothes, shoes and accessories. Hannah got some American girl doll accessories to go with her doll and Mason got the Ninja Turtle lair.
After all the gifts were open we had our Christmas breakfast and then while the little ones played with their toys we laid down and had a nap! Later that day we went over to the Williams for Christmas dinner. It was a very relaxing day, spent with those I love the most!

Christmas Eve

We had our traditional Christmas Eve dinner, let the kids open up their secret Santa gifts from each other, watched "The Christmas Story", put out the cookies and milk for Santa and then sent the kids to bed. It was a great day!

Christmas cookies

Ashley came home for Christmas, we did all of our favorite traditions while she was here. Top on the list, making sugar cookies for Santa!
