Kansas City

Mike had to go to Kansas City for a  business trip Sunday through Sunday so we joined him on Thursday night till Sunday. While we were there we went to the Childrens' Museum, went swimming at a recreational center, went shopping and ate a lot of yummy restaurants. It was nice to get away and to have some warmer weather.

Since I don't get to see you every day I look forward to our daily calls...or multiple calls a day. You are one of my best friends!

Easter break

We lucked out and had beautiful weather while the kids were off for their spring break.
They spent the days OUTSIDE it was glorious! We had a park day, a trip to a frozen yogurt bar, shopping, sleepovers, a wonderful day at church, an Easter egg hunt and a yummy Easter dinner!

Easter Eggs

We dyed Easter eggs at our friends the Williams home. It was a fun night with friends!

Garbage pail kids

Mike discovered that they were selling Garbage pail kids at Target and since then he's been on a mission to build his collection. He gives Mason all his doubles and they're both having a good time.

Garbage pail kids bring back quite the memories for me. I remember riding my bike down to the baseball card  shop with my brothers and buying new packs and then going home and trading with the neighborhood kids in our neighbors pop up trailer... Good times!

Snow cones

Mason was outside playing in the snow and asked for a spoon and a cup. He filled the cup up with fresh snow and then asked for some snow cone flavoring...Ummm disgusting, but I topped his snow off with some strawberry flavoring and he was in heaven.

Lost Boy

We found him asleep in our linen closet with blankets he had pulled down to make a comfy little spot.
