Emily's 6th grade concert

Easter

We had a fabulous Easter. We woke up and the kids searched the house for their Easter basket and Easter eggs. Then we got ready for church ( I didn't get any pictures of the kids in their church clothes because I was asked to give a talk in sacrament.. the not so fabulous part of my Easter, and with that stress on my mind I forgot to get pictures of them before we left for church.

 The talk that I totally dreaded giving ended up being something that I really needed. It was on the atonement, it was a nice reminder of how to activate the power of the atonement in my life. One of my favorite quotes is from President Uchtodorf, " The heavens will not be filled with those who never made mistakes, but with those who recognized that we were off course and who corrected there ways to get back in the light of Gospel truth."

After church we had dinner with the Williams and the missionaries.

We had a crazy busy week but we managed to squeeze in coloring eggs.. Whew!

Hannah was so excited for the daddy daughter dance. Her and Mike had a great night dancing with their friends.
