The Piano recital

The girls had their Spring piano recital, they both did a wonderful job and are picking up on the piano very nicely. It was so fun to hear the progress that they've made since their Christmas recital.

Last day of School

The girls last day was almost two weeks ago.... so this post is a little late. The girls had Award days  and they both received an award. We are so proud of all the hard work they did this year! It was a great year and the girls will both miss their teachers, their teachers were fabulous!!

Graduation

The day has finally came Ashley... you're graduated . We are so proud of you Ashley!

Thank you for all the support and graduation gifts for Ashley. We seriously have the best family and friends ever! Ashley felt very loved!

Kansas City

We had a girls trip(minus Ashley because she couldn't get off work) to Kansas City to go to the open house for the Kansas City temple. It is a beautiful temple and it was such a wonderful opportunity to  be able to be standing in the sealing and celestial rooms with my girls, the last time I was in the sealing room with one of my children is when Ashley was getting sealed to Mike and I. I still remember the feeling of JOY as Mike, Ashley and I all looked in to the mirrors that represent eternity, and  then to be able to stand and look into the same mirrors  with my other girls...it was amazing!! The girls were in awe of the temple and its beauty!
After the temple we headed over to Liberty jail.

It was a great little trip and one that will hold a memory forever!

Buddies

Mike was mowing the lawn and Mason insisted on helping his dad mow the whole lawn. It took Mike an hour longer, but he patiently got it done.

Deeaaar Ashley,

Can I please hit the rewind button?? I can't believe that you are 18 and even more I can't believe I have a child that is 18! It's been a great 18 years though you've always been my little tag along. You've always been such an easy child a little moody...okay who are we kidding the last four years you've been on an emotional roller coaster.. but besides being reeaallyy moody you've been an EASY child, if all of your siblings' teenage years end up being like yours I'll be ecstatic! I am so proud of you and am so proud of the decisions that you've made , you've always stayed true to your beliefs and that makes me sooo happy! I am so excited for you to start the next chapters in your life and for you to make of your life what you've always dreamt of!

You're one of my best friends, I love hearing about your day, or your latest and greatest date, I've been honored to do your hair for every high school dance,( because you don't trust anybody else to do it) I love that you come to me when you need advice, have a funny story to share, or when you need a shoulder to cry on.

My favorite things about you are, your smile, personality, values, laugh, compassion, style and your heart!

Since you're NEVER home and I rarely get new pictures of you I thought I would share pictures of some of the birthday presents from some of your admirers.

Easter

So as I was loading my pictures I noticed I didn't get one single picture of Ashley over the Easter weekend. That girl is always on the move rather it be working, school, hanging with friends, going on dates or sleeping. She was successfully doing all the above this weekend and that explains the NO pictures... I went to take a picture of her in her dress after church... and she was sleeping... maybe next year... that is if she is still living in the same state as us. Anywho we had a great Easter weekend!
