I'd settle for a slow down.

Its been a crazy busy week!! On Thursday I cleaned four houses, got home had enough time to change my clothes then had to head to the oral surgeon to get a wisdom tooth pulled.
Turned around the next day to get the girls off to school, go clean another house, get home with enough time to eat lunch and change my clothes and then head out the door to take Ashley to her Ortho appointment(seriously is this girl ever going to get her braces off??) on the route to getting Ashley from school I got a call from Madisyn's school saying that Maddy had bumped her head and may possibly need stitches!! So after picking up Ashley we head to Maddy's school. We get Ashley's appt. out of the way and then head to the doctor where they find that Maddy does indeed need stitches. From there we head home to pickup Emily, Hannah, and Mike to head to Anoka High School where Madisyn and Emily have dress rehearsal for their dance recital. Once their rehearsal is over we head to Apple Bees for dinner, YUM!!

On Saturday Shad and his kids came down so Shad could help us with the final steps for our sand point. (Yay, free water to water my lawn!!) I had the hard job as supervising, it was rough but someone had to do it. Thanks so much Shad for all your hard work, Mike says he wouldn't be surprised if you change your number and accidentally forget to tell me. Austin, Ashtyn, and Sydney talked their dad into letting them stay the night, which everyone was excited for when he said "YES"!
We then started the 2 hour hair and makeup session for Maddy and Emily and then all headed to the girls recital. Finally after picking up pizza we returned home at 9:30 to eat our dinner.

On Sunday we managed to have a mini party for Hannah's birthday, before I needed to start the hair and makeup session for tonight's recital and Mike leaving to run Shad's kids home

As stressful as the last four days have been I wouldn't have it any other way, because before to long all wonder where all the years went.

Cashing in!!

This Mother's day I got my beloved coupon book from Maddy, this is something I receive every year from one of my children, and is for sure one of my favorite gifts!! This year the book consisted of the following:

A spa treatment
Clean the table
Do nails
Random
Make breakfast
Make lunch
Make dinner( can use 3 times)
Make anything
Set table

Now I'm not one to put the coupon book in the drawer as a forgotten keepsake, every year I'm pretty good at using my coupons, and tonight when I was using one of the coupons( making dinner) Maddy informed me that I could use my coupons as much as I want, SWEET I think I'll take her up on that offer!!

So call me a little defensive??

Emily informs Madisyn and I this morning that a boy in her class keeps pushing her down, I ask which boy?? She says, " Cain!" Now I volunteer in her class and know this isn't even a little boy, the boy looks like he could be in 3rd grade!!

So the good mom I am says, "Well push him back!!"

Emily then informs me, " Mom, I can't do that then I'll go to yellow."

So the even better mom in me says, "Tell him to stop it or that your Mom will push him back then!!"

Emily then looks at me and says," That would be freaky Mom!!"

And then Maddy chimes in, "I can see it now one of my friends will say,"

" Maddy isn't that your Mom who just pushed down a little boy??"

Maddy then continues to say, "I'll say who? I've never seen her before in my life!!"

So I guess I'll leave the disciplining to the school!! What can I say, I can't stand to see bullies pick on kids, especially when its my kid!!

Ashley Paige

Happy Birthday Ashley Paige!! It's so weird to think that 15 years ago I was in the hospital having you, where have the years gone?? It seems like just yesterday that you were the bouncy curly haired girl playing with barbies. I want you to know that I am very proud of the young woman that your turning into, and though it makes me sad that my baby is 15, I'm also very excited because each passing year I'm also gaining a best friend! I sure do cherish all of our long talks and our shopping trips and look forward to a lifetime filled with those!!

Gary???

Hannah's favorite T.V. show right now is Sponge Bob Square Pants, I know very educational right?? At the moment she is pretty obsessed with it and would watch it twenty four seven if I'd let her!!

So those of you not familiar with the show Sponge Bob has a pet snail named Gary that thinks he's a cat. So after 11 years Hannah decides that our cat O'malley needs a new name any guesses as to what that new name is?? Here is mine and Hannah's conversation today:

Hannah, "Omalley's name Gary??"
I say, " You want to call O'malley, Gary?"
Hannah, " Yes call him Gary!!"

So starting at that moment Hannah started calling O'malley "Gary" when her her Daddy wakes up she informs him that O'malley's new name is "Gary"!!

When the girls get home she also informs them as well!

Every time Hannah sees our cat now she says, " Oooh look at Gary, Oooh Gary's so cute, Hi Gary."

So the next time you see me I might have a new name too, maybe Patrick, Sandy, Crusty Crab, Squidward or Plankton???

At last!!

Well I think its safe to say that I'm on the tail end of a very long training!! On Sunday after everyone got in their naps I decided to start potty training Hannah, this is something I dread doing more then almost anything!! It's something that I start dreading within days of giving birth to each of my children, one of the biggest reasons my kids are as spread out as they are, because I can't even think have having another baby until the one is out of diapers, but on day 5 and only 4 accidents, each that took place on the first couple days I must say I am pretty proud of Hannah!! She is able to tell me when she needs to potty and with the help of her older sisters it wasn't half as bad as what I thought it would be.

Now if I can just tackle the staying dry at night?? I could have my rose colored glasses on but I don't remember dealing with this with my other girls, any suggestions??

You really feel old.....

I thought that I felt old when my oldest daughter went to Kindergarten!

I thought I felt old when my oldest daughter went to middle school!

I thought I felt old when my oldest daughter went to Young Women's!

I thought I felt old when my oldest daughter went to the mall with her friends by herself!

I thought I felt old when my oldest daughter starting wearing make up!

I thought I felt old when my oldest daughter starting talking to me about boys!

I thought I felt old when my oldest daughter went to high school! But.............

I'm pretty sure this is the oldest I felt so far...... my oldest daughter started Drivers Ed today!!!!

It is so crazy to think that I have a child who is starting Drivers Ed and can be driving with a permit in such a short amount of time. With her receiving her drivers license comes some excitement on my end, but a lot of anxiety too!! The older my children get is the more that I want life just to slow down.
