Valentines

For Valentines day we surprised Mike with a candlelight dinner when he got home from work.
The girls dressed up in their fanciest dresses.

We had pork loin, red potatoes, asparagus, homemade rolls, and brownies for dessert.

Mason and Mommy came to dinner in our PJ's, I was feeling a little under the weather.

I am very blessed to have so many Valentines in my life!!

Happy Mom

A clean house and no fighting kids = a happy Mom!

Neither of which happen often, so when they do I got to get it on camera.

The big loss

This being Mason's first chance to watch the Vikes play in the NFC Championship, we were hoping that they would pull through for us and take us to the Superbowl........

But as you can tell from the picture.... it didn't happen.

Maybe next year Masers!!

Night on the town

I took Maddy and two of her friends to Red Lobster for her birthday, this is Maddy's favorite place to eat because she LOVES SEAFOOD!

Maddy's birthday has been a all weekend long celebration, Red lobster, sleepovers, a day of sledding, and shopping at MOA.
Happy Birthday Madisyn!!

Boy Madness

Can you say Boy Madness, 6 of my friends had or will have a baby boy. It has been so fun to go through our pregnancies together, talk about our sleepless nights, our crabby babies, our happy babies, our concerns, and being able to give our sons some amazing playmates! Mason and I are so happy to be part of the baby boy club. Kyce, Alex, Trayson, and Mason.

New Years Eve

We celebrated New Years Eve at our friends John And Jodell's house, like always they were the perfect hosts! We started off the evening sledding, then had a yummy dinner, and then played Wii games.

A little bit before midnight they passed around hats and noise makers, they kids loved them!

We all had a great night!
My New Years resolutions are pretty simple:
Eat less, exercise more.
Yell less, love more.
Watch less T.V., read more.
Keep less, throw away more.

Winter Wonderland

Our snow storm arrived on Wednesday night and continued until late Saturday, which worked great for us since we had nowhere we had to be until church on Sunday. I think we got hit with about 16 inches.
Mike and I shoveled on and off again all day on Christmas Eve, Mike decided we were taking a break from shoveling until after Christmas day......which ended up not being the best idea, it took Mike at least 2 hours on Saturday to clear the driveway.

This is Hannah's first year that she actually enjoyed playing in the snow.

Emily is behind a big snow pile.

Maddy helping her dad shovel, so we could all leave to go shopping!

The kids loved the Winter Wonderland that awaited them. I just wish that same Winter Wonderland didn't stick around until April.
